Poulton Le Fylde Community Hall
I was commissioned to design and install a complete audio rack system for Poulton Le Fylde Community Hall. The venue needed something flexible enough that different staff members could operate it across various events without specialist knowledge.
I installed the Behringer X32 Rack as the main mixing console, along with an additional DSP to manage their six-speaker setup in the hall—each requiring precise speaker delays for optimal sound coverage. I also installed and configured the wireless mics, and showed the venue staff how to use the X32 iPad app to control the system remotely.
The system has two main scenes: one for shows, and a default multi-purpose scene for room hirers that requires no interaction at all. I've also set up drawer sections for equipment storage.
To support additional equipment for shows, I added a power distro at the front of the rack and ran cables for local connections. There's also an analogue multi-core that runs to the stage for when performers need to connect directly.
