Open Fixture Library

The Open Fixture Library is a community-driven project that maintains a comprehensive database of lighting fixtures for use with DMX lighting control software. It enables lighting designers and technicians to share and access fixture definitions across different platforms and applications.

I discovered the project while working on lighting jobs, where I saw the value in having standardised fixture definitions. My initial contributions were made during Hacktoberfest, and I've continued to contribute by reviewing and adding new fixtures, as well as improving existing documentation.

Maintaining and improving the Open Fixture Library is a natural extension of my work in both web development and live events—it connects my technical skills with my practical experience in lighting production.
